Heck Yeah, Cake Pops

Ok - so there’s a lot of posts sort of like this going around, and I know this one may seem pretty pointless, but oh my gosh you could help us so much.

My mum works full time, looks after a family of 4 children, cooks, cleans - does all that stuff - but on top of all this (which takes up nearly all her time every week anyway) she manages to find time to delve into her passion - cake decorating.

For my mum, cake decorating is like song writing for a musician, or painting for an artist - it’s a great passion of hers :) and holy crap she has made some AMAZING things. It blows me away what she comes up with.

Suncorp bank, a big name company here, is offering 6 $5,000 grants - some are picked by the panel of judges, others are a people’s choice. That $5,000 could go towards some (ridiculously expensive) cake decorating classes so mum can start doing wedding cakes, and just generally get better at what she does, so she could one day maybe do this full time, rather than working in a job she doesn’t like - as is, there is no way in hell she could afford to go to any of these classes, with bills and groceries and mortgage payments and all that, we just can’t afford it.

This is something she really really wants to do, and if you guys could just go click the vote button, you would really be helping us out :)
